Also we watched a short futuristic film "Sight", here´s the link if you want to watch it again.

Your homework is to write (on a separate piece of paper) your opinion: What are positive and negative sides of "sight"? How can this tool be misused by people? Would you like to have "sight" yourself? What for? How could you use it? Do we have anything similar nowadays?
Also don´t forget the copies with car and bicycle parts!

And of course, it´s Halloween Time!

Here´s a Halloween Quiz, how well you know the history of the holiday.

Hello! How´re you?
Hey, you completely forget about blog! Please read it and leave your comments! I would really appreciate it!

So, today we´ve revised Past Simple together with Past Continuous:
While I was driving home I had an accident.
I was living in New York when I met him.

We were practising using these tenses in our own stories using the pictures and imagination! They were quite funny! Wow, you were really creative!

Watch a video "Walking home at night". What happened to a man and to a woman once they were walking home? Write in the comments below.

Also we had some pronunciation practice with letters "ea". Remember there´re lots of ways to read words with "ea". You can practise it with a Reading Game  and other Reading Resources.

Player 1 - 2 points
Player 2 - 6 points
Player 3 - 2 points
Player 4 - 4 points

08/10 Tuesday. Class 3

Hey! Nice to see you in the blog again!

Today we´ve been practising asking all types of questions. Seems we still have some problems with it!
We´ve been answering the questionnaire and talking about best friends. Also we´ve done some listening where two people were talking about their best friends and why they´re together.

Your homework is to write a short answer to the question - Why is your best friend your best friend? What makes you be together? What do you share?

To get inspiration watch a small funny video "What is a Friend?"

The best way to learn is with songs. Here´s a nice song about friendship by Jason Mraz “Song for a Friend” . What is the song about?

We´ve also watched a short film called "Bottle" and talked about the relations between people. I liked David´s idea about the end - "They haven´t melted, they´ve converted into one whole - the sea!" Brilliant! You could write your ideas about the film here in comments.

Finally, our Olympic Games results:

Player 1 - 2 points
Player 2 - 5 points
Player 3 - 5 points
Player 4 - 7 points
Player 5 - 4 points
Player 6 - 2 points
Player 7 - 4 points

And as usual a quote in the end! Do you agree with it?

01/10 Tuesday. Class 2

Hi there!

Today we´ve learnt how to describe personality: lazy, sociable, sly, generous, polite etc.

We were ranking the qualities from the most to the least important for different roles in society. We all appreciate caring and funny parents, honest politicians, creative and hard-working teachers.

And, of course, the results of our Olympic Games:

Player 1 - 2 points
Player 2 - 5 points
Player 3 - 2 points
Player 4 - 10 points
Player 5 - 2 points
Player 6 - 1 point
Player 7 - 4 points

Hey, you should be shrewd and active to get points, so next time try to participate more actively! Laura, the only girl in the class, seems to beat up all boys together! Great!

We´ve also watched a short film "3X3", we were describing the heroes and trying to predict the end. It was quite unexpected. If you want to watch it again, click here.

So, your task is to answer the questions: What´s the meaning of the film for you? How did you feel about the film?

How do you understand this quote? Do you agree/disagree with it? Why?
